Bio

Las Vegas-based artist Marcellé is an autistic and ADHD singer, songwriter, pianist, and producer from New Orleans — a siren whose voice rises from water and memory. Her alternative R&B drifts between genres, blending electronic and global sounds from across the seven seas, reflecting both her ancestry and her boundless curiosity for connection. Listeners may hear echoes of Kelela, FKA twigs, and Sevdaliza in her songs, though her voice remains distinctly her own.  Her work explores the intersections of trauma, neurodivergence, and disability — transforming lived experience into music that celebrates resilience, identity, and cultures while honoring the voice as a vessel.

She began her journey as a self-producing artist before collaborating with Grammy-winning producers, platinum-selling songwriters, and celebrity vocal coaches who helped shape her artistry. She continues refining her craft through networks such as Writing Sessions America, Music Production for Women, and Singers' Sanctuary — communities where she grows alongside artists shaping the next era of sound. Her performances have included the House of Blues and other stages across the United States, and her music has been featured by Fox, Offbeat Magazine, and My Spilt Milk, among others.

Her single “Monster” — produced by the legendary Devine Evans — marked her final landbound chapter: a raw reflection on mental health through which she discovered her voice. That discovery reignited her independence and led her back to the waters of self-production, where her sound evolved into a digital alchemy of emotion and storytelling. Within Marcelland, listeners will soon hear this evolution unfold — music shaped by both sea and shore, by all she’s lived, and by all she will become. They will also hear it in the tides of her performances, through live sets of her original work or thoughtful reinterpretations of contemporary and classic R&B, shaped either through her atmospheric electronic style or the simplicity of piano when an unplugged moment is needed.

Beyond her own music, Marcellé is the founder of Once Upon a Voice, a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming studio helping singers and songwriters uncover their voices through piano and music production. She is also the founder of Voicelore, a developing nonprofit supporting gender-based violence survivors of all backgrounds through music-based advocacy in the entertainment industry and beyond. Both exist in the larger world of Marcelland — a realm where artistry, education, and healing flow together like currents of the same sea. Through every song, Marcellé reminds us of what music has always held: the power to feel, to connect, and to be heard — above the surface and beneath it.
